In all, it’s the standard Heroes IV experience, so if you’ve enjoyed some of the single scenarios in the original game then this here should keep you occupied for a few hours. Usually you have to defeat a random enemy hero so you can get the artifact and move on, with no real story elements.
You get 24 scenarios in all, a fairly nice amount, but the objective in most of them is to find an artifact or visit obelisks. Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm is the first expansion pack for Heroes IV, weighing in at six linked campaigns, six new heroes, four new neutral creatures and seven new building types.
